The reason for waking up and going to bed…

Here is the best insight I can supply as to why I get out of bed every day and why I go to bed exhausted every night…a girl named Cheyenne.

Here is what I am thinking…too bad she doesn’t want to be a comedic actress.  I think she already has a head start on hamming it up.  It is difficult to believe from these mug shots that she is shy out in the big world.

She seems to have quickly embraced her inner witch attitude…she must have gotten that from her father.  Or perhaps her sister…but never me. ;-)

Enjoying every minute of kid four…each day is a new adventure.  But, I cannot help but wonder how elementary teachers work with twenty kids like my one every day and live to tell the tale.  What vitamins can they possibly be taking?   Are they over-the-counter?

I am sure of one thing – we are not paying teachers enough…I am making a mental note to light a candle for elementary teachers at every church I enter for the rest of my days…okay, two candles at every church.

Day one hundred and thirty-six of the new forty – obla di obla da

About Ms. C

I teach at NDSU...but I remain a student of life with all the enthusiasm that entails. My favorite saying is, "Sometimes you have to take the leap and build your wings on the way down." In the new forty that is what I am doing...building my wings.

What a little darling. I think raising children without prozac is kinda like natural birth…crazy pains long forgotten when it’s over. Enjoy the ride and be sure to get a couple of scars for nostalgia’s sake. :-)

Thanks ladies for the comments – she is quite the ham and I do agree regarding raising kids without prozac. They should include that in the care package they send home with new mommies. :-)
