Fargo Marathon – major props!

Today I want to give props to all the folks locally and from across the country who are participating in the Fargo Marathon events of today and tomorrow.  I am not a runner, but I appreciate the commitment that is involved in preparing for and participating in this event. So major props go out to all the runners who will participate and to all the folks who have supported their efforts.

Also, I must applaud the organizers of the Fargo Marathon who have built it from a 300 runner event in 2002 to the major event it is today.  If you have not heard, the Fargo Marathon recently received “the Runner’s World Reader’s Choice Award as the #1 Best Value Marathon in America and the 8th Best Overall Marathon in America (January 2010).”   That is phenomenal given the short length of time it has been in existence.

So –  bravo to the runners and their supportive families and to the event organizers…your commitment makes all of us in the F/M area proud!!

About Ms. C

I teach at NDSU...but I remain a student of life with all the enthusiasm that entails. My favorite saying is, "Sometimes you have to take the leap and build your wings on the way down." In the new forty that is what I am doing...building my wings.
