Fortune favors the bold…

Day of four of my moxie-liscious week in Emmitsburg and I am feeling it in every pore.  My moxie-liscious quotation of the day is "Fortune favors the bold." ~ Terence

Yes indeed…that is the truth…fortune does favor the bold.  I believe it was Wayne Gretzky that said, "You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take." You have to at least take the shots.  Those who dare to do so even knowing they may crash and burn…those who don’t let fear of failure stop them from leaping in with both feet…wow…those are my kind of people.

My friend Tom said to me today that folks either operate from a place of love or a place of fear…I choose love.  I am not going to operate from a place of fear – I am going to leap in with both feet and hopefully as a result I will enjoy the fruits of the bold.  If nothing else I will not have to ask, "What if?"  As Tom said – love or fear…which one appeals to you?

I choose to operate from a place of love – love for me, love for others and love for the infinite possibilities in life.  I am, after all, moxie-liscious…and the moxie-liscious cannot operate from a place of fear…that simply would not do.

Be bold, take a shot, operate from a place of love – do that which you are afraid to do…and if you crash and burn…get up, dust yourself off and move on.  But no matter what – take the shot. :-)

About Ms. C

I teach at NDSU...but I remain a student of life with all the enthusiasm that entails. My favorite saying is, "Sometimes you have to take the leap and build your wings on the way down." In the new forty that is what I am doing...building my wings.

those who don’t let fear of failure stop them from leaping in with both feet……does it help if I have flat feet????????(I do actually!!) Glad you had a good time out east. Last summer I was in DC for a Cold War conference. Met some fantastic people and I would love to get together with them again. We also were living loud!! Rich
