2010 Summer Go-To Hangout Location…Granite City

Seeing as we are now officially in the summer of 2010 I have concluded it is time to designate a summer go-to hangout location.  After examining my options, I decided my summer 2010 go-to hangout location will be Granite City – or GC from here forward.

I like sitting on the bar side in a booth and watching the comings and goings.  There is always a lot going on there – lots of visiting and coupling and friend-making.  Never a dull moment – truly.

I got my mug club card and I am becoming better acquainted with the bartending staff – my favorites are Jimmy (he is my absolute favorite), Steve and Bridget – and I also am getting to know Jon – one of the managers.  They are my new GC BFFs and each and every one of them is fabulous to look at.  And speaking of fabulous to look at – there is Marvelous Matt (you gotta’ love that type of M & M).  Matt is a new friend of mine and he joined me tonight at my little GC booth.   Is it clear yet why GC has fast become my summer go-to hangout location?  I am loving that place! 😉

I’ll be back at my summer go-to hangout location tomorrow with friends – I think M & M may be there too…if you are out and about stop by and join us…it is summer – let’s get this party started!

Day three hundred and fifty-two of the new forty – obla di obla da

About Ms. C

I teach at NDSU...but I remain a student of life with all the enthusiasm that entails. My favorite saying is, "Sometimes you have to take the leap and build your wings on the way down." In the new forty that is what I am doing...building my wings.
