Marriage advice…

Those who know about my bucket list wish of having a long-lasting marriage before I leave this earth often offer tidbits of advice on how to get there.  Sometimes the advice is more basic, such as marry your best friend or have similar interests, values and beliefs.  Other times it is more complex such as making sure that communication and conflict resolution styles are in sync.  Every once in awhile I get advice that delivers a whole different level message about the secrets of a long happy marriage.  Today, I share one such piece of advice from my ever delightful friend Barbara Johnson who is always looking out for me.  Enjoy. ;-)

About Ms. C

I teach at NDSU...but I remain a student of life with all the enthusiasm that entails. My favorite saying is, "Sometimes you have to take the leap and build your wings on the way down." In the new forty that is what I am doing...building my wings.
