You light up my life…

My new favorite thing is motion-sensored lights.  They have installed this type of lighting at the Emergency Management Institute (where I was last week).  Every time I walked down halls or into rooms where the lights were out the lights turned on.  In the halls the sensors picked me up from a few paces away, so the path literally lit up in front of me.  The effect was dramatic.  It made me feel special. It made me want to work and live at the end of long hallways with motion-sensored lights.

Sure, I know in the world of thrills this is really weak – motion-sensor lights, but I have to tell you it really does make me smile.  I imagine that says quite a bit about me…one might say it sheds light on who I am. 😉

About Ms. C

I teach at NDSU...but I remain a student of life with all the enthusiasm that entails. My favorite saying is, "Sometimes you have to take the leap and build your wings on the way down." In the new forty that is what I am doing...building my wings.

I would LOVE this lighting–since I am something of a miser (with Red Carpet undertones)! :)

My husband’s office has those. They got rid of actual light switches so now if he and his co worker sit too still at their computers the lights go off.

They always give me a “Get Smart” tv show feeling. When the doors keep opening just as he arrives at them…..except for the last one.
