Today was the last day of my regular classes this semester. On the last day of my classes the students do a hot wash of the semester which has elements of serious reflection and fun. It is akin to closing the book on the semester.
This semester, my Business Continuity and Crisis Management class was filled with quite a lively group. Most of the students knew each other already from other classes and had been in one or more of my classes in the past, so the comfort level in the class was high at the outset. Yet even with all that there was one personality that rose far above the rest – a personality that begs to be featured herein – our very own diva.
We celebrated this last day together tropically – with leis. Our diva needed a bit more than a lei though, our diva needed to be outfitted. In looking at the photo below, can you pick out our diva?
Oh yes, meet our diva – Jason.
Jason was being appropriately “attired” in his diva gear above by fellow students – Feliciana and Andrew – who he has ribbed throughout the semester. Of course, Jason, being the diva he is, loved every moment of his diva-dom.
What a fun semester with a great group of folks. They worked hard and when it was all said and done we had all grown and laughed a lot. Plus we helped bring a diva into his own. It isn’t just any class that can accomplish that – it takes a special one.
Thank you BCCM class – you definitely had personality +!! Have a great summer and stay in touch!
