It isn’t a gift…

I wish the television network executives would consult with me before they create the fall line-up.  My DVR only holds 100 hours of taped shows and my nightly television time is about two hours at best.  When the networks keep adding new shows I like and then bring back my favorites, it makes for difficult decisions when it comes to distributing my limited television viewing time.  Don’t those execs care about the stress they are causing me?

With the new season now in full swing my DVR is quickly filling up and I am afraid to even investigate any shows I am not already invested in, but there is one that I have become so fascinated with that I feel compelled to DVR every episode.  That show is Long Island Medium.  If you haven’t seen this show yet I encourage you to catch it on TLC on Sundays at 8 PM.  You don’t have to care about or buy into the star Theresa Caputo’s ability as a medium to love this show.  Theresa’s personality and her interactions with her delightfully candid family will win you over.  Make no mistake though, even the heartiest of skeptics has got to appreciate the peace and happiness she gives to those she interacts with on the show.  I strongly encourage you to catch a few episodes and let me know if you too become a fan of Theresa and her family – I think you will…and no, I am not psychic – just a fan of good TV.  It isn’t a gift…it is more like a curse. ;-)

About Ms. C

I teach at NDSU...but I remain a student of life with all the enthusiasm that entails. My favorite saying is, "Sometimes you have to take the leap and build your wings on the way down." In the new forty that is what I am doing...building my wings.
