It is that time again – time for the holi-daze.  Time for folks with eyes glazed over to wander through store aisles looking for the perfect holiday decor and gifts.  This is the time of year when shoppers lose their sense of time and place while looking at shelves packed with the latest, greatest gifts money can buy.  They stop in the center of aisles oblivious to the other people around them and appear to be in a trance.  I know you have seen it…you may have done it.  I know I have – seen it and done it.

Today I went to TJ Maxx and saw the beginnings of the holiday season setting in.  Apparently, now that the election is over folks are moving full steam ahead into the holidays and the holi-daze.  There will be no quick in and out of stores for the casual shopper in the short term.

Christmas is only six weeks away – so proceed with caution folks – and maintain a healthy dose of patience and holiday cheer.  😉

About Ms. C

I teach at NDSU...but I remain a student of life with all the enthusiasm that entails. My favorite saying is, "Sometimes you have to take the leap and build your wings on the way down." In the new forty that is what I am doing...building my wings.
