The Added Ingredient That Is Not On The Menu…

Running across delightful people as one goes about daily life is a gift.  It is amazing the power a positive interaction, however brief, can have on one’s mood. Spreading cheer can be as simple as a nice comment or a kindness shown.  It can happen anywhere where people cross each others’ paths – to include via telephone or electronic communication.

Tonight Cheyenne and I went to Culver’s.  Well, by went, I mean we drove through Culver’s to get food to take home.  In our short Culver’s visit we were assisted by a delightful young man named Scorpio.  What a joyous soul he possesses.   In our visit to Culver’s this evening I received the most gracious and pleasant service I have ever received at a drive through window.  And I have to tell you my friends, in my years on the planet I have been at many a drive through window.

Scorpio was happy, polite, lighthearted, thoughtful, and focused on providing the best customer service he could.  He was, in my estimation, the perfect representation of what every business offering customer service should strive for.  If I could encounter Scorpio daily without gaining 20 pounds I would go out of my way to do so.  There are people in this world who put a little bit of magic into the world just by being who they are and he is one of them.

If you get a chance, go to Culver’s and meet Scorpio.  I promise you’ll leave there with more than butter burgers and custard.  You’ll leave there with a smile. 😉
