Sunshine and lollipops…

I am predictable. This I know. The Voice is back with a new season and I am glued to it.

I love the chemistry and humor between the host and coaches on the show.  Carson Daly seems to genuinely care about the contestants and their families.  His happiness when they succeed is so charming.  The judges have an easy, carefree banter that keeps the audience laughing.  I particularly like the Shakira/Usher/Adam/Blake coach configuration.   They all go full bore for the contestants they are interested in and are kind and encouraging to those who do not make it.  Their passion and sincerity comes through to both the contestants and the folks’ watching. Truthfully, I watch the show more for the interaction between all the people than for the singing.

I like this kind of television.  I like being able to watch folks’ pursuing their dreams.  I know not everything in the world is sunshine and lollipops, but I enjoy it where I get it.   So bring it on – I’ll be watching. ;-)

Sunshine, lollipops and rainbows, everything that’s wonderful is sure to come your way.

I don’t even watch TV, I only listen. And only to cartoons or news. I’m glad you like it. If there weren’t folks like you, there would be nothing for folks like me. That;s why it takes all kinds, eh?
